M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E and NINE years!

I'm not even sure that I should keep apologizing at this point for my posts being late, or few and far between.

But I'm here tonight!

So we went on our anniversary trip to Disneyland! This was our 8th year going for our anniversary! And for those out there that think we are crazy or that we will get sick of it, well, I don't think that will ever happen!

It rained for awhile on our first day, most of the day on our second, and was warm and sunny our final three days! It went from 57-80 degrees in the time we were there! But it was all awesome and we got to experience some stuff we hadn't done before!

Our first night, we got to see the Main Street Electrical Parade and the Remember fireworks show! Both made me tear up a little. I hadn't seen the Electrical Parade since it's Farewell Season in the 90's. And the Remember fireworks show was the one they created for the 50th anniversary that was my favorite fireworks show until the 60th show!

On our second day, we enjoyed a lot of indoor rides and activities. We were there during AP Days so we went and hung out in the lounge they had set up for that. We got pictures with the Country Bears and took some other fun pics. Since it rained until right before dinner time, we had to find a little corner to hide under to eat our lunch, as all of the indoor restaurants were jam packed. But it was an adventure and a fun one at that!

Churros for breakfast are the best choice

Our third day brought sunshine and lots more fun! It was Mardi Gras, so we got some beads in New Orleans Square and had our traditional dinner at Blue Bayou. We also tried out the Alfresco Tasting Terrace. It's a fun upper deck to one of the restaurants in California Adventure. We did some wine tasting and enjoyed a meat and cheese board. It was a fun little rest in the middle of our afternoon.

Rockin' my 'Roe in Hollywood Land

Our fourth day was spent trying new foods and shows! We went to the newly reimagined Village Haus restaurant that was transformed into the Red Rose Taverne in honor of Beauty and the Beast. We had lunch there and tried the grey stuff...and it WAS delicious! We also saw the new Frozen stage show that replaced Aladdin (which was good, but I was definitely a big fan of the Aladdin show). We also tried ice cream nachos, which were really yummy! And, as a part of AP Days, we got to watch a TV special that was done on the Main Street Electrical Parade in the 80s!

In line for Radiator Springs Racers for the last time this trip

In front of the Haunted Mansion in my Haunted Mansion-esque leggings!

On our last short day, we rode on a few of our favorite rides one more time (did I mention Pirates was closed for refurbishment? That was definitely a bummer!) and grabbed lunch and some goodies on our way out.

I love spending time with my hubby in our happy place! I can't wait for our next trip (whenever that may be)!
