Valentine's Day

Last year, for every day leading up to Valentine's Day, I wrote a special blog to each of the people in my life that mean the most to me.

This year, I had every intention of at least finding some way to show them how much I appreciate them...but I just was not able to find the time...

And here it is already the 13th...

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it doesn't matter if it doesn't happen before tomorrow. It doesn't even matter if it doesn't happen this week or this month.

There's nothing magical or special about Valentine's Day. There's nothing in the rule books that says you can only show love to those you care about one day a year.

So, instead of beating myself up for it, I'm going to take the time to really show them I appreciate them...and not rush through it like I'd be forced to do if I tried to do it all tonight.
