I seriously love them.
Especially when I get to be a part of them somehow.
I have such fond memories of planning my own wedding...and I have many fond memories of being a bridesmaid/maid of honor in many of my dear friends/sister's wedding(s).
But to me, the part that truly makes a wedding magical is the God honoring part. Every wedding I have been a part of in the past four years has been a celebration of a man and woman coming together under God, committing their lives to Him. It is such a truly beautiful thing to witness.
My dear bestie...who I've mentioned on this blog many times...just got engaged over Labor Day weekend (on her birthday). I am so excited for her and her fiance. They are two amazing people who are striving to live their lives for God...and it has been so wonderful to see the growth they've experienced as a couple, and in their relationships with God, over the past several months.
Her hubby-to-be proposed in the cutest way possible. He's a techie guy (like my hubby), so naturally his proposal involved an iPad, a website, and a blog. If you want to check out how he proposed, visit their blog. And, while you're doing that...you should read the past blogs he wrote. Pretty amazing... You should also check out the website that he used to propose to her. It's seriously adorable.
It is so encouraging for me to see a beautiful couple following Christ and trying to honor Him with every step of their engagement and future marriage.
I can't wait for this wedding!

Such an original way to propose! So sweet. And as you said, it's so wonderful when you know two people you love are coming together in marriage with God as their head.

So fun! I love a wedding too, especially when you see God in the center of it.
Aw friend! I need to do a better job of keeping up on your blog. I'm so glad to have you in my life, as a bridesmaid and mostly as my precious sister in Christ. Love you so very much bestie! <3
