Overwhelmed... 9/11

I have been so overwhelmed all day today.

Reading the many posts on Facebook and Twitter, watching the videos, viewing the pictures, watching the tributes on TV...it just brings up so many emotions.

I posted this on Facebook this morning:

I can't believe it has been 10 years. I remember the deep sadness I felt watching things unfold on the news that morning. But I also remember how much people came together and turned to God for comfort and help. It's time we as a nation do that again. Let us not forget the lives that were lost on 9/11/01.


And, that's about all I can put into words. I've teared up today, I've been in shock at the things people have found important today (that have nothing to do with what happened 10 years ago), and I've remembered...where I was when I found out, how I felt, and how frightening things were for many weeks and months prior to that horrible day.

I hope you haven't forgotten...
